Big vexed - RoundTableKings
I've actually done a LOT of work on my boy Vance but this is one of the more recent ones. It is based on a logo I did for him a while back. I just played with it a little.
& here is the original logo

Things I'd like to tattoo... but my folks won't let me.
Here's a tattoo design I was playing with a while back. The sad thing is... being black in the south, I may never get a chance to tattoo it. There are many reasons, to many to discuss in this one post but to make a long story short, open-mindedness can be very scarce amongst my fellow black southerners.
If it isn't a name, a cross, praying hands, or something already on someone famous, it will get little to no consideration. I've even tried offering some different stuff for free but it never goes down because they back out to get something "safe". I understand that. Its your body and there is a natural comfort in what you already know but this doesn't promote growth for the client and definitely not for the artist.
"Why not tattoo white folks, Asians, or Latinos? They always seem to get wild shit." I'd be glad to, but alas, this is Georgia and subliminal segregation is alive and well. Clients of races other than my own usually stick with their own or just default to a white artist. Anyone who says otherwise is in denial. Can't do anything about that. Welcome to the dirty dirty :) So lately I've been feeling kinda stagnant. If there is anyone in Georgia (or willing to travel here) looking to get something out of the ordinary, please hit me up. I'M DYING DOWN HERE!!!

Ray's folks
Considering the clarity of the original pic and each face only being a good 2 inches. I'm pretty happy with the amount of detail I got in there. *as i pat myself on the back*

Latreese's tatt
Latresse has been planning this dedication to her Grandmother whom passed away earlier this year. We both were very pleased with the outcome. Latresse more so because it was done. Apparently that ankle bone hurts like a bitch.

After doing a ambigram tattoo for Tenecia a while back, I got inspired to make one for myself. Here is the outcome.
